How it works

Three steps, inside Premiere

  1. Select a clip

    Select a clip on the timeline. The panel opens under Window › Extensions › Pengumi Studio.

  2. Analyze

    Audio is analyzed on your own computer with ffmpeg and whisper.cpp. The result is previewed before anything is applied.

  3. Apply

    The cuts are written to the timeline. A backup of the sequence is made first, by default.

Privacy

Your audio stays on your machine

The panel runs inside Premiere and all analysis happens on your own computer.

  • whisper.cpp and ffmpeg run locally
  • Only three tools can be run, enforced by an allowlist: ffmpeg, ffprobe, whisper-cli
  • Models live in your user profile; uninstalling the plugin does not delete them
  • Update files are never run unless their SHA256 checks out
