System requirements

  • Windows 10/11 or an Apple Silicon (M-series) Mac; Mac support is not verified yet
  • Adobe Premiere Pro 2024 (v24) or newer
  • Internet: for the Whisper model on first setup (about 465 MB, once) and for license checks; a Pro license works offline for up to 30 days
  • No admin rights needed: everything installs into your user profile

Installation

  1. On Windows run the PengumiStudio-Setup.exe you downloaded; on a Mac paste the command above into Terminal.
  2. Open Premiere Pro (restart it if it was open during installation) and choose Window › Extensions › Pengumi Studio.
  3. On first launch the wizard downloads the Whisper model and asks how you want to start: free, or a 7-day trial.

Safe updates

Updates are signed: nothing installs before the release record checks out against its Ed25519 signature and the package against its SHA-256, and installation starts only with your approval. The Mac package's SHA-256:

If the panel does not open

  • Under HKCU\Software\Adobe\CSXS.11 and CSXS.12 the PlayerDebugMode value must be "1" (a string)
  • Your Premiere version must be in the supported range (24 and later)
  • Look at the CEP*.log files under %TEMP%
  • The panel's own Dev page holds every call and error trace

Uninstalling

On Windows remove Pengumi Studio from Settings › Apps. On a Mac paste this into Terminal:

Uninstalling keeps the downloaded models; they live in %APPDATA%\AutoCutStudio on Windows and ~/Library/Application Support/AutoCutStudio on a Mac.
