Getting started

The basics of the panel and a few things worth knowing.

Quick start

  1. Select a clip on the timeline.
  2. Pick a category and a tool in the panel.
  3. Analyze, preview the result, apply.

A backup of the sequence is made before cut, silence, filler, repeat and profanity edits. Delete it with one button when you are done.

Whisper models

The first-run wizard downloads a model. A larger model is more accurate, a smaller one is faster.

  • Options: tiny, base, small (default), medium, large-v3 and Large v3 Turbo.

Analysis profile

The Balanced profile is about twice as fast: 9.1 seconds instead of 17.7 on a 63-second Turkish recording, with the error rate at 3.2% instead of 4.3%. The Most accurate profile keeps the full search. Settings › Analysis profile.

Scope

Filler, repeat and profanity tools also work on an In–Out range: mark one with I and O on the timeline, then change the scope in the panel.

Undo

Premiere's script API offers no single undo group. Undoing can take a few Ctrl+Z presses; duplicating the sequence before big operations is recommended.

Reporting problems

Turn on Developer mode in Settings. Copy the log from the Dev page and share it with your report.
