FAQ

Frequently asked

Honest answers, limits included.

Does my audio go to the cloud?

No. Analysis runs with whisper.cpp and ffmpeg on your own computer.

Do I need internet?

To download the model and tools during setup, and to check your license. Analysis itself needs no internet; a Pro license works offline for up to 30 days.

Is it free?

The free tier gives you AutoCut and Captions with 5 analyses a month. The 7-day trial unlocks every tool for 2 hours a day. Pro (monthly/yearly) goes on sale soon; no price announced yet.

Which Premiere versions are supported?

Premiere Pro 2024 (v24) and newer, on Windows; macOS on Apple Silicon is supported but not yet verified.

Why can undoing take several Ctrl+Z presses?

Premiere's script API offers no single undo group. That is why a sequence backup is made before big operations.

Why does AutoZoom not create its own adjustment layer?

The script API cannot create adjustment layers. If the project has one, the panel duplicates it; otherwise it applies the same Transform effect straight to the clip and says so.

Does object blur change the original clip?

No. The used range of the clip is rendered with the blur, and that copy is placed right over the original.

Which languages does it work in?

You pick the speech language in Settings. The panel's interface is Turkish and English.

Can it translate captions?

Yes, into 34 languages. Translation runs on your computer with Mozilla's Bergamot engine; each language pair downloads a 15–25 MB model once, on first use.

Does it work on a Mac?

Yes, on Apple Silicon (M-series) Macs; you install it with one command pasted into Terminal. Mac support is not verified yet, and Intel Macs are not supported.

How do updates arrive?

On start the panel checks a signed release record. Nothing installs before the signature and SHA-256 check out, and installation starts only when you approve it. The check can be turned off in Settings.

How many tools are there?

26 tools: editing (10), text and captions (4), visuals and effects (9), audio (3). Voice-over is coming soon.

What goes to the license server?

Only what checking the license needs: a salted hash of your machine code, a hash of the license key, trial and free-tier counters, and your IP address when a trial starts. Audio, transcripts and project content are never sent. Details: Privacy Notice.
